Martijn Sedgfield is a professional dancer, choreographer, creative director and instructor from Melbourne, Australia. He has over ten years of experience behind him and has worked in many different aspects of the entertainment industry both nationally and internationally including, film & television, corporate, commercial, and stage.

As a performer, Martijn’s credits include working with Recording Artists such as; Jason Derulo, Ne-Yo, Paula Abdul, Meghan Trainor, Aston Merrygold, Tones & I, CNCO, Jessica Mauboy, Ricki-Lee, Isabela Merced, Chesca, Behani, Brooke Scullion & Cardamone. He also has appeared on TV Shows such as; So You Think You Can Dance Australia, Dance Moms With Nia Sioux, The Ellen DeGeneres Show with Camila Cabello & Dancing With The Stars with Aston Merrygold. He has performed at many large scale live events including, The Commonwealth Games 2022 Closing Ceremony in Birmingham, the RuPauls Drag Race Down Under Tour, The 57th Annual Aria Awards, and was part of the winning team at the Capezio A.C.E. Awards at the Dance Teacher Summit in New York and has also worked with major brands such as; Peter Alexander, Nike, JC Penney & Toyota.  

As a creative, Martijn has worked on projects such as; Juicy Fest 2022 Aus Tour with Ne-Yo & Behani (creative director/choreographer), Platique Tiarra’s Irresistible Music Video (Choreographer), CARDAMONE’s Killer Music Video (Creative Director/contributing choreographer), RuPauls Drag Race Down Under Tour (Assistant Choreographer), JustinZ’s Dreams Music Video (Choreographer) featuring So You Think You Can Dance US season16 Winner Bailey (Bailrok) Muñoz, Ziggy Alberts’ Four Feet in the Forest Music Video (Choreographer), Oscar Key Sungs’ Brush Music Video (Co-Choreographer) and the TEN Visual series directed by Adrian Spuria & Sean Higgins (Shotography) as Co-Choregrapher on the Videos MARS, MERCURY, PLUTO & NEPTUNE.

Martijn's time living in Los Angeles gave him many opportunities to work with and learn from world renowned creatives such as; Kyle Hanagami & Nika Kljun as part the Skeleton Crews for the proposed Britney Spears Domination Las Vegas Residency, Galen Hooks for Isabela Merced’s Coconut Grove Concert in Miami, Kyle Hanagami for CNCO’s Jingle Ball Performance, Nappy Tabs for Paula Abdul’s LA Pride Performance. He has also worked with influential Australian creatives such as; Jason Coleman, Yvette Lee, Marko Panzic & David Atkins. 
Martijn’s current experience in the industry has been heavily influenced by street and commercial styles of dance, although he also has training in classical and contemporary genres as well and is always a forever-student.
