Sian is a dynamic choreographer and performer based in Melbourne, showcasing a versatile talent across various mediums and genres. Her impressive portfolio encompasses choreography showcased on stage, screen, and television, including notable music videos for esteemed recording artists such as Tones and I, Woodes, Maddy Jane, and many more. With a keen eye for movement direction, Sian has worked on TVC’s for renowned brands such as 7/11, Caulfield Spring Racing and Bakers Delight. Her ability to deliver projects on a grand scale is evident in her work with David Atkins Enterprises, where she served as a bespoke choreographer for Expo 2020 in Dubai and as lead choreographer for the Victoria Handover Ceremony at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Alongside her work for various clients in different spaces Sian is also deeply committed to her independent projects and collaborative ventures. She debuted her first independent show ‘Lapse’ in 2019, to outstanding reviews and since then, she remains dedicated to fostering independent work and providing creative platforms for fellow artists. Sian is part of the all female team behind the magical live improvisation and music event Playing Field, uniting the realms of music and dance in a seamless collaboration. Teaming up with director Emily Dynes, Sian has co-created a series of visually stunning music videos and short dance films. Their collaborative work has been recognised by awards and festivals around Australia.
Continuing to push creative boundaries, Sian recently debuted her latest project, "Embodying Sound," a groundbreaking collaboration with musician Jazz Miller, which premiered in 2024 at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, Sian continues to captivate audiences worldwide with her emotive choreography and dynamic performances.
